What does it do?
We have two centres across the City of Plymouth that provide caring
services and opportunities to meet new friends, have fun and lunch. Both centres
are open five days a week, excluding bank holidays. Each venue provides a wide
range of high quality day opportunities, freshly cooked homemade meals in a
friendly and supportive environment. Both centres are equipped with reasonably priced hairdressing
facilities, a visiting chiropody service and other activities such as Tai Chi,
Yoga, Bingo, Bridge, Reading Groups, Arts and Crafts.
Our Dementia Services centre based at the William and Patricia Venton Centre in Mount Gould caters for people with different stages of dementia. Our Early Stage Dementia service is available to people over 50 and offers an integrated approach to supporting people with early stage dementia.
All our staff are trained and have many years of experience caring for older people.

A warm welcome awaits you at our William and Patricia Venton centre in Mount Gould.
The day centre is open Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 3.00pm. Day Care Services need to be arranged and can be privately funded, or in certain circumstances, funded through your local authority.

Dementia Day Centre
Dementia Day Centre provides a service that meets the needs of each individual with mild through to severe cognitive impairment. We aim for an adaptable approach to improve the quality of life of all people who use the centre through the active promotion of choice, opportunities and independence.
At our Dementia Day Centre we support the individual and the carer.
