Redbridge - Older Persons CMHT

What does it do?

The Community Mental Health Team for Older People is a specialist multi-disciplinary mental health service and is available to be
consulted about, treat and provide intervention into the most common mental health disorders in older people.

The team provides assessment and on-going community support to people over 65 who reside in the London Borough of Redbridge.

Being made up of Community Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists and Support Staff, a Physiotherapist, our aim is to significantly improve the health and social functionality of people with mental illness, and support them in the community for as long as possible.

Who it is for?

Older people over age 65 years who live within the London Borough of Redbridge with varying mental health problems.

Local service (Redbridge).

The service is free of charge.
