What does it do?

Age UK Warwickshire is always here to listen, support and guide you – whether you need physical or psychological support.

Age UK Warwickshire is dedicated to servicing the needs of older people both mentally and physically. If you’re feeling stressed, anxious, low - or maybe you just need someone to talk to – we’re here and we’re all ears.

Counselling  Service

If you want to talk to someone about how you are feeling or about any problems you have, then our counselling service is here to help you.

  • This service is provided by friendly, trained volunteer counsellors, and they are available for everyone over the age of 55.
  • There will be up to 12 x 1 hour sessions delivered over a 15 week period
  • Counselling sessions take place in the safety and security of your own home; however other arrangements can be made if required                                       
  • The service is free of charge, although donations towards the service are greatly appreciated.

Carer Counselling Service

As above, but for carers of older people with physical or mental health problems.

Who it is for?

This service is here for you if you have a diagnosis of depression, stress or anxiety and are feeling isolated or have little or no support from other agencies

Where it is available?

Local service (Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick, North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Rugby).

What it costs:

The service is free of charge, although donations towards the service are greatly appreciated.
