What does it do?
Equipment is installed which may be connected to your telephone line, with a pendant for a person to wear on their neck or on the wrist. The pendant has a button to contact us in an emergency, even if you can’t get to the telephone. There is other equipment which can be provided that can contact carers to remind you to take your medication.
The safe and sound service provides additional benefits and support for people who are having problems with:
• falls
• fire
• forgetfulness
• bogus callers
• medication
