Disabled Persons' Parking (Blue Badge Scheme)

What does it do?

The object of the concessions is to assist those qualifying for badges to lead a normal life by making it easier for them to visit shops,
restaurants and other local amenities by parking closer to their destination.

Who it is for?

The Blue Badge Scheme provides a national arrangement of parking concessions for people with severe walking difficulties, who travel
either as drivers or passengers.

Where it is available?

Local service (Harborough, Hinckley & Bosworth, Melton, Blaby, Charnwood, North West Leicestershire, Oadby & Wigston).

What it costs:

Please be aware that there is no longer any charge for a blue badge.  This is now a free service.
