Lichfield U3A

What does it do?

Lichfield U3A is an active group with over 300 members that welcomes new people who would like to lead an interesting and active life after
retirement. We hold a monthly speaker meeting at 2pm on the second Wednesday of each month which is held in the United Reformed Church, Wade Street,[Frog Lane entrance opposite the Police Station] Lichfield when new members are welcome to attend.

We have over 30 diverse groups ranging from Art to Science and Technology. Each group is self organised and new members are welcomed to join a group or start a new one.

Who it is for?

U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.
