Leek U3A
What does it do?
A warm welcome to the website of Leek u3a. We hope that exploring it will encourage and motivate you to join our thriving and vibrant community. Leek u3a is one of the larger groups nationally, with about 900 members.
What is the u3a?
Our motto is LEARN, LAUGH and LIVE. In Leek, members enjoy opportunities to gain new skills or knowledge, to socialise and to exercise. There are 80 or so groups, most of which meet weekly, ranging from arts and crafts to languages, music, games and sport – you can download the Groups Brochure for more information. Also, there are many trips, short courses, concerts and talks you can attend as a member.
Where is it?
Norton House (on the corner of Fynney Street and Southbank Street) is the nerve centre of Leek u3a, but we use several other venues, including church halls, the leisure centre and the Watson Centre, close to Norton House.
