Kingswinford and District U3A

What does it do?

We are a branch of the world wide U3A organisation, which exists so that people who are no longer in full time work can make new friends and follow a variety of new and old interests by attending our interest groups.

Who it is for?

U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.

Where it is available?

Local service (Dudley).

What it costs:

Every member pays an annual subscription (£10 in 2011) and there is a £5 joining fee. Once your membership fee is paid,
you may belong to as many interest groups as you wish. Groups will ask for around £1 per meeting to cover room hire and refreshments.

How to access or apply for it:

Would you like to know more?  We are a very friendly bunch of people, currently struggling with an expanding group and decreasing (or so it seems) space, but if you think what we are offering might be right for you, please get in touch!
