Peaks and Dales Advocacy

What does it do?

Peaks and Dales Advocacy is an independent organisation working in the High Peak & North Derbyshire Dales to provide a free advocacy service. Advocacy is about standing with someone and encouraging and supporting them to know what they want in their lives and what they want to say, and to have that want (or need) voiced.

We do not try to replace families but there are occasions when the people we work with need someone independent to stand in their corner. That is what an advocate does. If you think we can help you or someone you know,or you would like some more information, either ring
or e mail us.

We aim to ensure that the views of the people who want our help, who we call partners, are known, respected and protected.
