The University of the Third Age: where ‘university’ is used in its original sense – a place where people can come to learn and to enjoy the sharing of knowledge, interests and ideas. It is a worldwide learning organisation with over 300,000 members in the UK alone who are no longer in full-time employment and have reached their ‘third age’, a time to keep minds and bodies alert and active.
