What does it do?

WHiA can offer help and information about the options available in Warrington for older people. These may include:

  • Help to maintain your home, obtain adaptations or improvements
  • Advice if you are thinking about moving to more suitable accommodation
  • Considering retirement housing and would like more information
  • If you require “Extra Care” housing

We will help take you through all the available options and even offer hands on help with moving if that is what you choose to do.

Housing options advice

As we get older our housing needs change and this sometimes means that we may want to look at the options that are available.

Staying in your own home with help and support from WHiA could be the choice you decide to take.  Alternatively, you may decide that you want to move into more suitable accommodation which has been designed specifically for older people.

WHiA can offer help and information about what help is available if you decide you want to stay in your own home such as getting help with repairs, maintaining your garden or making your home easier to get around.
