What does it do?

Helpings Hands is a service provided by Age Concern Mid Mersey volunteers for people aged 50+ and is free of charge in the borough of St Helens.

The volunteers can help with all low level domestic tasks such as:
  • changing light bulbs,
  • changing curtains or chair covers,
  • moving furniture,
  • clearing clutter or loft,
  • defrosting fridge
  • and other small tasks
