Community Wardens in Cambridgeshire

What does it do?

We have a team of Wardens helping people in later life to live in their own homes with support. Each warden will phone or make a personal visit to the client:

  • to help with shopping
  • collect Prescriptions
  • make phone calls on their behalf
  • help complete forms
  • liaise with other services when needed
  • arrange for a doctor or nurse to visit

Who it is for?

Do you need support at home?

Do you live in the areas of Ely, Girton, Histon & Impington, Littleport, Linton, Ramsey, Swavesey, Teversham or Shudy Camps (known as "Small Villages" and includes the surrounding villages of: Castle Camps, West Wratting, Balsham, West Wickham, Horseheath, Weston Colvil)?

Where it is available?

Local service (East Cambridgeshire, Fenland, Huntingdonshire, Cambridge, South Cambridgeshire).

What it costs:

We offer a two week free trial for anybody thinking of joining the service, which may be on a short or long term basis.  After this we will make a small charge.
