Welfare Benefits for older people in Buckinghamshire Age UK

What does it do?

About our welfare benefits service
Part of the Information and Advice Service specialises in maximising income in establishing eligibilities and entitlements to welfare benefits.

We give information and advice about benefit entitlement for older people by telephone. We will help you find out if you are claiming all the welfare benefits you are entitled to. Following this assessment, we can arrange for one of our trained volunteers to visit you at home to give advice and to fill in benefit application forms on your behalf.

How our welfare benefits service works

Contact us for a welfare benefit check on the telephone number below and we will help and support you throughout your claim.
All of our welfare benefits volunteers are fully trained to help older people fill out complicated benefits forms. These include Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit, Carers Allowance and Personal Independence Payments for people over 60. Our volunteers visit older people in their own homes, which means that everybody has the ability to claim what they are entitled to.
