Occupational Therapy Service

What does it do?

The Occupational Therapy team can help elderly and disabled people through assessment, advice, information and
the provision of equipment and / or adaptations to their homes. In many instances the assistance requested can be provided quickly
although non-urgent requests or major alterations to property can involve delays.

What to expect then:

Staff may need to visit people in their own homes or it may be more practical to assess people at our Assisted Living Centre. The
centre has a permanent display of equipment for assessment and demonstration.  Equipment is supplied via our integrated Community
Equipment Service which serves both health and social services delivery, collection, cleaning and storage needs.
