Occupational Therapy Service (Medical application)

What does it do?

The Occupational Therapy team can help elderly and disabled people through assessment, advice, information and
the provision of equipment and / or adaptations to their homes. In many instances the assistance requested can be provided quickly
although non-urgent requests or major alterations to property can involve delays.

A medical application should only be completed in the following instances:

If your current home is unsuitable for you or someone in your household, due to health or disability needs and you feel this could be improved by a change of accommodation or

If you feel you or a member of your household will need adaptations such a level access shower, stairlift, vertical lift, or adaptations so you can use a wheelchair indoors
