Computer Centre
Computer training classes in CheshireWhat does it do?
The centre boasts a comfortable and stimulating learning environment where adult learners can develop new skills at their own pace and in their own time.
To support new learners, we offer:
- A warm welcome – particularly to absolute beginners
- An induction programme with one-to-one support
- Training in basic word-processing, Internet and email skills
- Centre-prepared handouts
- Information about progression and skills development
For a nominal registration fee new learners are offered eight one-hour sessions with a trainer to introduce them to computers in general and word-processing, Internet and email skills in particular.
Many of our trainers are experienced volunteers who are committed to making new learners feel at ease in the computing environment.
After successfully completing our induction programme, learners are welcome join one of our other courses (such as Skype or Digital Photography) and/or to book individual tuition with a tutor on a topic of choice.
