Home Improvement Agency Service

The Borders Care and Repair Service provides an adaptation service

What does it do?

The Borders Care and Repair service can help adapt and repair your home, and make it:
- more comfortable
- afer and more secure
- better suited for your needs
The service is provided by Eildon Housing Association together with Scottish Borders Council. Our team is based in Selkirk, and visits people in their homes throughout the Borders. All work is carried out by reliable tradesmen from our approved list of contractors.

Adaptation Service

Our Occupational Therapists can advise on improvements to your home to meet a physical need. If we cannot complete the work ourselves, we will engage reputable contractors and then oversee the process from start to finish. Work may include:
- fitting grab rails
- fitting bath/shower aids
- fitting access ramps
- We can provide you with advice on funding that may be available to help with your adaptation.
- You can self-refer to our adaptation service.
Please call us on 01750 724 895 or email us to find out if we can help.
