Independent Living Service - Portsmouth City Council
What does it do?
Short-term support is available for adults who need help with the skills and confidence to live independently. By providing intensive care in your home, usually for between one and three weeks (and occasionally for up to six weeks) the service can help people home from hospital or from a spell in residential care, or can help prevent the need for admissions in the first place.
Who it is for?
We support people who need a little extra help to continue living independently in their own homes. We also provide long and short-term care and support for people with medically diagnosed middle and late dementia.
Where it is available?
