What does it do?

The National Bus Pass is a bus pass giving free off peak travel throughout England after 9.30am Monday to Friday, and any time at weekends and bank holidays. You may use your bus pass from 9.00am to travel within the borough of Eastbourne only.

Who it is for?

You may be eligible for a National Pass if you are a permanent resident of Eastbourne and you are:


Aged 60 on or before 5 April 2010

Of 'Pensionable age' from 6 April 2010 onwards - please refer to new eligibility rules below

are disabled and eligible - please refer to the Disability Guidelines

are not permitted to drive or likely to be refused a driving licence for medical reasons
