Day Centres, Community Hubs and Cafes
What does it do?
Four day care centres across Birmingham. All centres offer personalised support to older adults who have health and mobility support needs, including dementia. Our Day Care offers a personalised approach supporting wellbeing and independence through the development of friendships, reducing isolation and offering a wide range of activities and opportunities that promote increased quality of life.
The service also provides carer break opportunities and carer support throughout the week. Flexibility is offered around the needs of clients and carers with the services being accessible for full sessions, part sessions or lunch.
Lunch Services
All venues offer healthy meals, with support to promote healthy eating.
Transport can be arranged with the support of an Age Concern Birmingham escort (a door-to-door service for anyone who lives in the West Midlands that finds it difficult or impossible to use normal public transport).
Our services are available Monday to Friday. Please call us for further details or to arrange a free trial / visit to view a centre and discuss support needs with a member of the team.
