What does it do?

At Right at Home Worthing & Shoreham our mission is to provide long-lasting, compassionate care and the best advice to our clients and their families, on the basis that everyone deserves to be treated well and to retain their dignity and independence.

Our highly-trained CareGivers are carefully matched to clients and our personalised services range from one hour of household support and companionship through to specialist care for dementia, learning disabilities or long-term medical conditions.

Who it is for?

People who need personal care and support at home in the Worthing and Shoreham area in West Sussex

Where it is available?

Local service (Horsham, Worthing, Adur, Chichester).

What it costs:

Every care package is different as they are all personalised. We offer a free Care Needs Assessment and for those who are eligible, we are happy to work with clients who receive direct payments and personal budgets.

How to access or apply for it:

Please contact our friendly team at the Right At Home Worthing & Shoreham office on 01273286172 for an informal chat to discuss various needs initially which will then allow our care manager to form a basic needs assessment.

Alternatively you can contact us contact by email at worthing.shoreham@rightathomeuk.com or on our website https://www.rightathomeuk.co.uk/worthingshoreham/

What to expect then:

If you wish to proceed we can arrange a free Care Needs Assessment in your won home after which we develop a Personalised Care Plan. In the plan we will work together to make a detailed of how the care would work, including the timing and duration of visits and what the carer will do when they are with you.

Once the Care Plan is agreed we can find and introduce a suitable carer, the care plan will then usually be reviewed after two weeks to check it is working well for everyone and any changes made if required.

Additional information:

Every Right at Home carer goes through an extensive interview process, including background and enhanced Criminal Bureau Checks and a psychometric profiling. Once employed, carers are fully trained by Right at Home to ensure that they're able to deliver the highest level of care as set out in the Care Plan. Right at Home stays in close touch with carers to ensure things are going well. We also make visits to our clients to ensure that our carers are maintaining the same high levels of care.
