• Provides a Home Check Service providing information, advice and support to help to maintain independence and safety in the home.

At the home visit an assessment of the property and individual needs will be carried out, which includes discussions about:

• general wellbeing and how you are managing in your home;
• equipment;
• falls prevention;
• general housing conditions;
• minor and major adaptations;
• assistive technology;
• minor handyperson works;
• warm home/energy advice and support; and
• eligibility or welfare benefits.

There is no charge for the Housing MOT assessment visit.
