Safe and Friendly Daycare service for over 40's

What does it do?

We provide activities such as Chair base exercise, art and craft, drama train, cookery session, ICT, playing games.
we also organise regular outings.
This will really help them to cope with isolation, feel more involved, engage and active.

Discussion groups covering a wide range of topics from current affairs to health issues and reminiscence to encourage social interaction.
Health / Welfare / Benefits literature and information.
It provides a safe and friendly environment to address the individual and group’s needs with appropriate advice to improve the quality of life of the clients.

we also provide pick and drop services for our daycare clients



Who it is for?

Anyone over the age of 40 with a long term illness or physical disability and/or sensory impairment and care needs, living in the community and having been assessed as requiring Day Care by a Care Manager or local authority may be referred to Haringey Asian Day Care Centre.

Local service serving within 10km of N226TB.

What it costs:

per day Cost is £41.24 however local council can fund the per day cost if referred through them.

(we open centre once a week for those who don't yet meet the criteria but could benefit from the activities. Check Better together service.)

How to access or apply for it:

To be referred from the local council, please contact your GP or local council.

What to expect then:

Day Care staff will do the home visit to look at the applicant requirement.
after the home visit, the applicant can start the services as soon as possible.
