We have a range of staff who are experienced in caring for individuals with dementia. We ensure the staff we place have experience regarding positive dementia assessments, management and referrals and implementing enhanced environments incorporating current activities such as reminiscence, life story, memory box and community involvement.
Norvic Healthcare works in partnership with a large network of private and NHS community hospitals. Our staff work alongside hospital nurses, auxiliary staff, doctors and consultants and play an important part in the successful treatment, care and discharge of patients. Our team have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to deliver a wide range of services, including caring for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, dementia and acquired brain or spinal injuries.
We provide care support in the home for children, young people, adults and the elderly with diverse care needs, including individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, dementia and acquired brain injuries. We also provide respite care to give family members a well-deserved break. Some of our domiciliary care workers spend their time escorting individuals outside of the home, for example taking them to a hospital appointment or a shopping trip. We work in partnership with health and social care professionals so that everyone receives the most appropriate medical and personal care they need from our experienced care assistants, nurses, district nurses and/or occupational therapists. We also have an excellent relationship with social services and can invoice them direct where appropriate.
We offer all our staff good rates of pay, a quality uniform, full training, regular supervision and appraisal and the opportunity to become part of our unique reward scheme. Where required, foundation training is provided that covers everything you need to be prepared for working with us. We are a family run private company who care about looking after our staff well. We recognise that our continuing quality reputation is reliant on our staff.
