Housing register
Council housing in Great YarmouthWhat does it do?
The demand for social housing in Great Yarmouth is too high for us to
meet it. We have been forced to restrict who can go on the waiting list
and who can't. We offer a Housing Options service to help everyone with housing needs (contact details above).
Who it is for?
You can go on the waiting list if you have a housing need and have lived in the Borough of Great Yarmouth for two years. An example of housing need would be if you:
- Are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Live in overcrowded or unsanitary conditions
- Need to move for medical or welfare reasons
Where it is available?
Local service (Great Yarmouth).
How to access or apply for it:
You can apply by coming into Housing Options
Service at Greyfriars House. We are open from 9am to 5pm (we close at
3pm on the first Thursday of the month).
We do not offer appointments. To avoid a long wait it is best to avoid 12 to 2.30pm.
