Firth Park Library Lunch Club

What does it do?

We are a smaller lunch club with between 15 and 20 people attending our sessions on Fridays from 11am to 3.30. Our members range in age from 60 years to over 90, with the majority of people in their 80s. We offer a hot meal supplied by a local school canteen. Our members would tell you that our club is a good place to socialise and make friends with excellent food. We have ramp access for less able members in our newly refurbished community room. We also have comfortable chairs with high backs. We offer a variety of activities including bingo, birthday celebrations, music, a Christmas party and two outings a year. Members pay 50p subs. per session as well as the cost of the meal.
