Christ Church Pitsmoor Lunch Club

What does it do?

We are a medium sized lunch club with between 20 and 30 people attending a typical session on Thursdays from 10am to 1.30. Our members range in age from 50 years to over 90, with the majority of people in their 50s. Our members would tell you our club offers "a good atmosphere, good meals at a low cost and the opportunity to meet other people and make friends". A local school provides the meals and we add extra trimmings ourselves. We offer a variety of activities that includes an optional church service at 10am, morning coffee at 10.30, chairobics (gentle exercise sitting down), a bring and buy table and the credit union visits between 10.00 - 12pm.
