What does it do?

Offers advice in the following areas: benefits, immigration, employment, housing, consumer, education, training, debt and equipment and adaptations from Neighbourhoods and Community Care Directorate. Offers a home visiting and advocacy service which includes assisting people to appointments eg at hospitals, doctors, Jobcentre Plus. Also offers volunteering initiatives providing training and work experience. The immigration service includes advice on passports, visas, extension of stay, renewals, lost work permits, nationality and a wide range of related advice. Gives support and advice on the Life in the UK test. Offers interpreting and translations to the public. Works with the private sector such as legal advisors, solicitors etc. Also gives advice to the Slovak community.
