Community Meals service

What does it do?

The Community Meals service is provided in partnership with the Womens Royal Voluntary Service (WRVS).

WRVS provide both a hot meals service and a frozen meals service up to seven days a week. They offer quality food and a wide variety of choice.  Their trained staff deliver the pre-ordered meals in specially equipped vans. This means that food is delivered fresh and at the right temperature.

What it costs:

There is a cost for the meals. Wakefield Council help pay towards some of the cost and WRVS charge you for the rest. You can either pay the driver when he delivers your meals or WRVS can invoice you. You can then send them a cheque.
