What does it do?
Our Ageing Well project aims to inspire and encourage the over 50s in Warwickshire to keep fit while having fun.
The Ageing Well scheme has a motto:
Adding years to life and life to years.
Getting fit, staying strong and keeping healthy are all things we should be thinking about in later life – and we can have fun at the same time.
We encourage older people to participate in one or more of our weekly exercise classes. They include important activities such as balance and chair exercises and also provide the chance to try something a little different too.
What’s on offer?
Across the county we have a number of classes and activities for older people. Examples include:
- Tai Chi
- Seated exercise classes
- Exercise to music classes
We also provide information on accessing health walks and other health and well being services offered by other organisations.
