What does it do?

An Intergenerational Dementia Project.

The Sunshine Saturdays Intergeneratonal Dementia project aims to build intergenerational friendships between those heading into their sunset years with Dementia and young people aged 10-19 years of age.

The Sunshine Saturday Dementia Intergenerational Project aims to build intergenerational friendships between those heading into their sunset years with Dementia and young people aged 10-19 years of age.

Sunshine Saturdays take place every Saturday at Age UK Thanet from 10.30 – 2.30pm.  Activities vary at every session and cover a range of exciting themes – These will include trips out, memory sharing, singing, music, gardening, cooking etc.

This project offers a unique opportunity for fun and friendship in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
