Computer Club

Computer Club for older people in Southampton

What does it do?

No matter what your level of experience our computer club volunteers can help you to do what you want to do. Come along and see for yourself.

Our Computer Club is based at Challis Court on Mondays (10am-12noon and 1pm-3pm) and for a small suggested donation of £3, our volunteers will help you wiith a whole range of IT-related issues that you might have.

What we can help with:

  • Getting online
  • Skype and video calling
  • Loading photos from camera
  • Online shopping
  • Updating anti-virus software
  • Tablets and smartphones
  • Basic troubleshooting
  • Setting up email addresses
  • Microsoft Office

There's no need to book - just drop in for some help and a cup of tea.

We recommend that you bring your own device or laptop with you so that the volunteers can see the specific issue you're having.

Please note this service is not an IT class to learn about a specific subject and is instead a drop in session to support you with your own understanding or with specific IT difficulties you are facing.
