What does it do?

Providing information and advice in the Filey area for the over 50's.

The Resource Centre provides a point of contact for vital information and advice. From benefits to signposting you on to the best agencies for you to speak to.We have a Community Link Worker giving Information & Advice on a Tuesday between 10am - 12pm and in the afternoon by appointment ONLY. Ring to book an appointment.


Open 10am - 3.30pm.

Throughout the day you are able to get a tea/coffee from 50p or with a biscuit from 75p and a chance to read a newspaper in peace.

All dogs are welcome in the shop and Resource Centre and are catered for.

What it costs:

The cost of the Club is £1.50 per week and includes refreshments and raffle. Unfortunately transport to the Club is not provided.[Apr 16]

Lifeline Disabled Club, formerly the Pickering Coffee Club meet every Tuesday between 1.15pm and 3.15pm.

Why not learn a new skill or teach someone a skill of yours! You don't have to keep attending if you don't like it. Once you start you'll wish you'd joined us sooner.

Knit & Natter

Held on a Tuesday. 1pm - 4pm. No charge.

Everyone is welcome from novice to expert knitters. Help is on hand if needed.

Sketch Club

Held on a Wednesday 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

All levels of ability are welcome. A teacher is in class to offer help and assistance if needed. 

Singing Group

Held on a Thursday at 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

If you think you can't sing, think again. Come along to one of our sessions and let Jamie prove you wrong.
