Paulsgrove Pop-In Centre

What does it do?

Our Paulsgrove Pop-In Centre is based at 175 Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth PO6 4HG and is designed to enhance the social life and wellbeing of the local older population. Normal opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Refreshments and light snacks, such as a bacon butty or poached egg on toast, are available together with a range of tasty hot meals. You can also order a selection of nutritious home-cooked takeaway meals.

You can bag yourself a bargain in our charity shop where you will find a selection of clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, CDs, children’s toys, games and household goods.

We always need new stock so if you have any good quality unwanted items please donate them to our Paulsgrove shop and help us to make a difference to people in later life.

We run regular beginners’ IT sessions every Monday and Wednesday morning from 10.00 to 12.00 at the Pop-In Centre. At a cost of just £5 for up to two hours of tuition, our volunteer IT tutor can help you with the basics of using a computer, sending emails and surfing the internet.

We can also arrange free Information & Advice appointments by request at the Paulsgrove Pop-In Centre covering issues such as welfare benefits and entitlements, housing choices, health and social care and legal issues.
