Our befriending service aims to reduce the social isolation that may result from getting older.
The befriender would visit regularly for at least two hours a fortnight.

Our befriending service is for over 60s who feel socially isolated.
Where it is available?
Local service (Manchester, Salford).

It is a free service.

What to expect then:
An informal discussion to assess needs of the Older Person with the view of matching them with a volunteer befriender who will visit them regularly.

Our service covers the whole of Manchester and Salford.
