What does it do?

At Dial-A-Ride we endeavour to always be punctual and reliable, offering a high quality service.  All the vehicles at Dial-A-Ride are meticulously maintained to the highest standards, operated by highly trained drivers and escorts. The Dial-A-Ride team have been providing Community Transport services  for over 20 years, therefore no other company or organisation has heritage or experience like Dial-A-Ride in assisted transport.

We continually update information to our Dial-A-Ride drivers who are equipped with the latest technology including Blackberry devices that monitor real-time travel Information. All the Vehicles at Dial-A-Ride are equipped with the latest satellite navigation systems to ensure your journey is carried out quickly and cost effectively.

We continually update our fleet of vehicles, which include standard sized saloons, 8 seater, 10 seater, and 16 seater minibuses’ which are well maintained, immaculately presented, with uniformed drivers, and of course ALL are disabled accessible.

We are a “not for profit” organisation who exist on donations and grants from our MEMBERS and other Organisations.


Who it is for?

Dial-A-Ride provide transport servics for the elderly, Disabled and wheelchair users of the communities of Blackburn & Darwen, and the wider communities of Pennine Lancashire.
