Are you recovering from a stroke? Wondering what assistance is available to you and how you will adapt to a new way of life both practically and socially?
Support is on hand courtesy of the friendly advisors at Tapestry. They’re all fully trained and will visit you at home for a helpful chat about everything from home care, benefits and grants to things to do socially.
Help for carers
Are you caring for someone who’s had a stroke? An understanding, listening ear is ready and waiting at Tapestry, as is plenty of knowledgeable advice and help accessing all the services that are available to you in the borough.
Stroke support group
How would you like to meet up with others who’ve faced the same experiences as you? People who truly understand the situation you are facing? Whether you’ve been through a stroke yourself, or you care for someone who has, you will draw great benefit from talking to others in the same boat.
Why not come along to our monthly stroke support group? It’s held at the Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch and you are welcome to stop by for a cup of tea and a chat.
