Encouraging older people to be more active and meet new friends

What does it do?

The Healthy Living Clubs run across East Sussex and are aimed at encouraging older people to become more active, meet new friends and receive information around healthy lifestyles.

The focus for the clubs is around low impact fun activities which encourage conversation and friendships to be built.

 

Who it is for?

Anyone aged 50 and over who are resident in East Sussex 

Where it is available?

Local service (Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes, Wealden, Brighton & Hove, Rother).

What it costs:

The Healthy Living Club costs £1 per person per session.

Additional information:

The Healthy Living Clubs are run at a number of different venues around East Sussex. They meet every two weeks, normally in the mornings and run for two hours. We also run some specialist clubs supporting initiatives such as walking football.
