What does it do?

The Scheme aims to provide Over 60s and disabled who are homeowners and tenants the opportunity to remedy minor repairs and undertake minor adaptations to their properties Service which may be carried out by the Handy Person Repairs to Doors/Windows Plaster Work Minor Brickwork Plumbing Carpentry Grab/Stair rails Repairs to Floors Minor Guttering (Low Level only) Key Safe

Who it is for?

We can help if you’re aged 60 and over or have a disability, whether you own your home or rent.

Where it is available?

Local service (Forest Heath, Ipswich, St Edmundsbury, Suffolk Coastal, Waveney, Babergh, Mid Suffolk).

What it costs:

Our initial advice is always free.

How to access or apply for it:

People can call the agency direct or a referral is made from one of our partner organisations, the NHS, OT’s and social workers or our sign posting service called Contact and Connect.
