IWIC Assist

What does it do?

We provide CRB checked personal assistants to help enable people to remain living independently at home.
They will assist with a variety of daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping, laundry, pet care, preparing meals, pension collection, paying bills and accompanying on trips into the community.

Who it is for?


The service is open to all people in Birmingham who need assistance to live independently at home.

Where it is available?

Local service (Birmingham, Solihull).

What it costs:

The cost is £10:00 per hour and some  poeple may be entitled to certain benefits such as attendance allowance or direct payments from their local authority.

How to access or apply for it:

People need to email the service directly or telephone the project coordinator.

What to expect then:

The project coordinator will arrange a home visit to enable an assistance plan to be developed. When both parties are satisfied, contracts will be signed and a date agreed for service commencement.

Additional information:

IWIC Assist is a community interest company which means that any surplus made will be used to improve the service or donated to the parent charity , IWIC.
Therefore, clients who receive our service know that by letting us help them that they are helping others.
