What does it do?

 Volunteer Centre Sheffield is a part of Voluntary Action Sheffield. VAS is a charity that supports the voluntary and community sector in Sheffield to be vibrant, effective and influential. The Volunteer Centre is accredited by Volunteering England.

We provide information, advice and support to
* people who would like to volunteer or find out more about volunteering (come to
   our drop in Monday - Wednesday 10 - 4)
* to organisations who use or want to use volunteers
* to employers who are supporting their employees to volunteer.
We promote volunteering in Sheffield and are a partner in delivering Sheffield’s Volunteering Strategy. 
We encourage and develop good practice in volunteer involvement, so that volunteering is open to everyone and is positive and beneficial for all involved.

Contact the service on 0114 253 6649. Our drop in is on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday  10am - 4pm - Volunteer Centre Sheffield is on the ground floor of the Circle, which is a building in the centre of Sheffield, off Division Street behind Costa Coffee.  Walk along Division Street away from the City Hall and John Lewis and as soon as you reach Costa Coffee turn right into Rockingham Lane
