Weekly day centre/lunch club in Bampton

What does it do?

Members enjoy a cooked lunch and entertainment each Wednesday during "term-time". Activities are run each week and include a physiotherapist –led exercise sessions demonstrations by local craftsmen and women (flower arranging jewellery-making quilting etc) visits from local School and Pre-School children; sing-a-long sessions and regular raffles, quizzes and bingo. We also go on occasional trips to have lunch at local pubs, or visit garden centres etc. Coffee or tea is provided on arrival and a freshly cooked two course lunch is served for a very small charge – just £2 per week.

How to access or apply for it:

We welcome anyone wishing to join us but our membership is limited to 40 people so from time to time there is a waiting list.  Members must be able to cope with their own personal needs.
