What does it do?
We offer door-to-door transport if needed, in our wheelchair accessible minibuses with tail lifts. A two-course freshly cooked lunch is served daily, using locally sourced produce as much as possible.
You can stay for the whole day, come along for lunch, or drop in for companionship whenever it suits you. You can also take advantage of escorted shoppping trips to local supermarkets.
Hot meal delivery
We offer a two-course freshly cooked hot meal delivered to your home at lunch time, particularly for the housebound, to ensure regular meals for those that are unable to prepare hot meals. We also offer a frozen meal delivery service for the weekends.
This is available to anyone who needs assistance with showering in our specially adapted disabled shower room, with trained carers in attendance.
Domestic Support service
This is available for anyone who can no longer cope with heavy housework such as hoovering and bed making.
Provided by volunteers, we can provide a regular visit for people in need of company. This is a free service.
We offer chiropody either in the Day Centres or as a home visit.
We have a battery exchange service on production of a NHS battery exchange book. We also have regular monthly clinics run by Hi-Kent for hearing aid servicing.
We have a small shop selling confectionery, greetings cards, and acrylic double knitting wool. We also have used books all at reasonable prices.
We have a small number of wheelchairs and commodes for loan, for a small donation.
