Show more "As we get older many of us wonder if we really want to spend so much time looking after a house which is now too large and caring for a garden which has not only ceased to be a pleasure but has become a burden. And maybe it would be comforting to know that help would be on hand if there were to be an emergency.

We provide good quality, safe, sheltered rented accommodation for elderly persons for whom warden support is desirable but who are capable of living independently and do not require residential or nursing care.

The development consists of comfortable, individual, purpose built self contained mostly studio / bed-sit flats and five one bedroom flats, each with their own separate kitchen. most with a shower room and all with hand basin and toilet. The flats are all electric. There are also communal facilities in the original Grade 2* listed house. On the ground floor there is a lounge for socialising and enjoying various activities that are arranged each week. There is a laundry room with both washing and drying machines. There is a dining room with a fish and chip lunch arranged monthly and other occasional functions. Finally, we have a twin bed guest room so your friends and family can stay to visit for a nominal charge.

A Warden Call system is in operation. One of the management team is always on call in case of an emergency. There is no being connected to a Call Centre at Pinner House - an on site manager will be at the other end of the line.

You have to be 60 years and responsible for your own personal care, shopping, cooking and cleaning, to live at Pinner House." Show less
