Show more "This is the largest of the Trust's sheltered housing developments and benefits from a very active residents' committee that organises lots of social events. Residents often get together in the spacious communal lounge for line dancing or bingo and many other activities. There is also the occasional day out or week long holiday for which charges are payable but there is no obligation to participate.

Residents have the reassuring presence of an on site scheme manager during office hours and every dwelling benefits from an alarm that is connected to a round the clock central control for out of hours emergencies. 24 hour video surveillance is also provided for extra reassurance.

Although this is a peaceful and private development the bustling Yew Tree shopping centre including Co-op Supermarket is only a short distance away, while a recently opened Tesco Extra is also nearby and the no 11 (outer circle) bus runs virtually door to door." Show less
