Show more " Our high-quality housing for older people allows residents to live comfortably, securely, and independently whilst in the knowledge that help is there if they need it. At Hellaby House we offer purpose-built rental properties for people over the age of 60 or over 55 if you are in receipt of PIP (Personal Independence Payment) or DLA (Disability Living Allowance). Each flat consists of a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom/s with a 24-hour alarm service if ever you have an emergency.

Hellaby House offers a wide range of facilities, including a large communal lounge, communal gardens, 2 on-site laundries, communal parking bays including disabled bays, 2 guest rooms for visitors, library and hairdresser facilities, by appointment only. Hellaby House has its own events Residents Committee who arrange a wide variety of events and entertainment at the scheme, such as coffee mornings, fish and chips nights, bingo, etc. The Ring and Ride Service is also available from the scheme, taking residents on shopping trips and other local venues.

The scheme is located in a nice quiet area, a short walking distance to the local shops such as Tesco and Sainsbury's, Boots pharmacy, Post Office, local surgery and Crown Pub (5-10min walk). Local bus routes (937 and X3) and Butlers Lane Railway Station are also within walking distance, which takes you to Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham City Centre, Lichfield & Walsall. Good Hope Hospital is 10 minute drive from the scheme.
