Of the 24 ground and first floor apartments, 18 have one bedroom and six have two bedrooms. The properties are set out as individual houses on two storeys and first floor properties are unsuitable for the less mobile as there are no lifts.
Haywards Heath town centre is only a couple of miles away. Cuckfield has a variety of small shops and a local supermarket. The local public house has a restaurant and B&B facilities which is close to the scheme. The bus route runs outside the close with routes to Haywards Heath, Brighton, Crawley, Horsham and once weekly to Eastbourne.
