This extra care housing scheme was designed to act as a community hub, delivering services to its residents and the tenants of the wider community. The scheme houses a restaurant which provides a meals service six days a week. Guinness has also entered into a partnership agreement with Age Concern Liverpool, which has relocated its Woolton Resource Centre to Linksview, and who provide a transport service to local residents wishing to utilise the centres resources, as well as a twice weekly shopping trip to local superstores.
Also at Linksview is a modern, fully equipped community centre, available for hire free of charge. The community centre is used to run a range of classes and leisure activities such as dancing, bingo etc. The facility is also available to hire by outside organisations. Woolton View Community Association has its own website.
