Served by two lifts to the three floors, the dwellings are more spacious than the previous almshouses, with three rooms, kitchen and wet-room/WC and include many energy saving features such as underfloor heating and air-source heat pumps. The almshouses are reserved for local people in housing need, aged over 55, capable of independent living.In most cases you must be ages at least 55 to apply, be living in or have lived in Exeter or within a ten mile radius of the Guildhall, although in some circumstancesthe requirement relating to age and place of residence may be relaxed.
