Show more "Ramsay Hall is a purpose-designed Supported Housing Scheme built on the site originally occupied by the Board's first Home for clergy pensioners; and the new building was awarded a 'Distinction in Building Award' following its completion in 1997. It is situated in a quiet residential road in the lovely seaside town of Worthing; and a only short walk from the sea-front and town centre. To the rear of the Scheme is a pretty west-facing walled garden where residents can enjoy the afternoon and evening sunshine. Ramsay Hall provides a warm, friendly and caring environment for all the residents. Each resident has their own self-contained flat within the Scheme. There are 10 double flats for married couples and 16 single flats. As in all the Board's Supported Housing Schemes, each flat at Ramsay Hall has a lounge with en-suite kitchenette facilities, together with a bedroom and bathroom with shower. Lifts provide access to the accommodation on the upper floors. The flats are centrally heated and double-glazed; and there is weekly support for those who need help to clean their accommodation. A laundry room is provided for personal washing. As the accommodation is unfurnished, residents are expected to bring their own furniture for the flat to make the surroundings as familiar and comfortable as possible." Show less
